I was in a canoe alone moving slowly with them in a lake by an old friend's family cabin just north of the Wisconsin-Michigan border. They weren't bothered at all by my presence when the dad brought a crayfish to the kid while mom looked on. This image won first place in an Ottowa National Forest photo contest where this was taken.
